• ABOUT OUR PROCESS: At Hearth and Homestead, we are a small, family-owned business that holds to high standards for every single ingredient we put in our products. We use only high quality essential oils, butters, fats, herbs, and spices. We never use artificial ingredients like micas, dyes, or artificial fragrances.
• VITAMIN POWERHOUSE: Tallow is rich in vitamins A,D,E,K and B1 as well as stearic and oleic fatty acids and saturated fat. This yields a balm that is nourishing to your skin, but also highly shelf stable! (Variations in texture are common, due to these unadulterated ingredients).
• YOUR GO-TO BALM: Lavender peppermint balm is our favorite go-to balm for cuts, scrapes, and cooking burns or sunburn. Not for facial use (peppermint feels chilly).
